my name is Corinna and I am 26 years old. Originally I come from a small town named Hofheim, which is located on the country side; approximately 25km north of Frankfurt.
After I received my university-entrance diploma in 2002 I went travelling in Australia and Fiji for a couple of months before I started my apprenticeship.
During my apprenticeship as a “hotel management assistent” I worked for the Hilton Hotel Mainz, Althoff Hotels and Residences Main Plaza in Frankfurt (until they lost their management contract :-)) and Lindner Hotels and Resorts.
I ran through all departments e.g. kitchen, restaurant, conference and banquet, wellness area, housekeeping, reception and reservation, but I spent most of the time in Accounting, Controlling, Sales and Marketing.
I shortened my apprenticeship to 2.5 years and finished in January 2006. After the first experience of hard work in hospitality industry, I decided to go on with a dual study program for business administration in tourism with a focus on issues of hotels and gastronomy businesses.
Before university started in October 2006 I went to Oz for a second time.
On the way to down under I spent some amazing days in Dubai visiting a former boss who managed to show every little corner of his new workplace: the Burj al Arab. After all this luxury I went to see some other friends in Singapore who own a hostel with only one dormitory for at most 30 people (which was quiet good fun :-)) and a small club.
The next 8 months were packed with many bruises and sore extremities from harvest work, but also unforgettable impressions on nature and nature events.
I have just finished my bachelor´s degree and therefore also another 1.5 years of crazy work experience in various departments in different hotels in Weimar, Nuremberg, Munich, Bonn and Berlin.
Choosing the Euro MPM program I expect to get the important knowledge of hard and soft skills for a career in international consultancy. A real dream would be BCG or Mc Kinsey.
Besides working and studying, my major hobbies are scuba diving and cooking. For relaxing I also enjoy meeting with friends, reading and watching horror movies.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for any further information or general inquiries in german, english, french or spanish :-)
